February is often seen as a "red" month, full of the love and romance of Valentine's Day. While Saint Valentine was truly a saint (having died as a result of performing weddings for Roman soldiers, who were not allowed to marry in his day), we often miss the extent of the love offered by Saint Valentine. In helping others to unite with their true loves, he was actually exemplifying his true and sacrificial love for Christ and others, which ultimately cost him his life. The New Testament, rich in Greek language, has many words for "love". We will explore some of those words during our February series, and we will examine important passages in light of their understanding of the word "love". Come prepared to open God's book of love, the Bible, together!
